About Steven Saulls...
Steven began studying the guitar at age nine and has attended some of the finest music schools in the world including the Music & Arts Institute of San Francisco, Berklee College of Music (Boston), and the Mozarteum (Salzburg, Austria). He holds both a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University (80) and a Master of Music degree from the University of Arizona (82).
Teaching Experience
He has taught in Southern Arizona for over 25 years and currently has a private studio of more than 75 weekly guitar students. His students enjoy a self-paced, educational and entertaining learning environment, which accommodates all levels and styles of guitar playing. In addition to his private guitar studio, Steven has served as a faculty member at Pima Community College, Central Arizona College
and the Arizona Commission on the Arts Artist-in-Residence program.
Performing Experience
Over the past 30 years, Steven has performed hundreds of concerts throughout the United States, Mexico, South America and Europe. His debut recording Steven Saulls Plays Works by Ponce, Torroba & Bach has received wide acclaims both nationally and internationally. In addition to solo concerts, he has performed over 200 chamber works including guitar concerti (with orchestra) by Vivaldi, Ponce and Rodrigo.
